Teddy comes from a family of musicians. At nine, she began singing in the vocal group “Bon-Bon” and then continued to evolve her singing with Prof.. Alice Bovaryan. She accepts that her great inspiration is Michael Jackson. She trained for a short time rhythmic gymnastics, modern ballet and dance sport. In 2010, she enrolled in salsa lessons, and in 2012 she began working as an assistant instructor. Not long after that she became the chief instructor of her own group of students in the Latin dancing classes.

In 2011, she audit for the popular worldwide show X Factor, but failed to reach the big concerts.
Two years later she appeared again, this time she managed to reach the semifinals. Her mentor was Velizar Sokolov-Zaki. On the first concert she goes on eliminations during the show and she wins the four votes of the jury over Georgi Arsov and thus remained on the show. On the seventh big concert, she goes on elimination against Tanya Dimitrova and wins again. Eventually Teddy finished on fourth place in the show.
On May 30, 2014 Teodora released his debut song “Green Light” with Todor Gadjalov and Deo.
