During the lessons we will get to know the basic positions of the body and some rhythmic steps of different styles of Indian dance. We will look at the most commonly used mudras (hand gestures) and learn their meaning. The classes are an alternative to fitness – great cardio workouts, we work on the harmonious development of all muscles, paying special attention to hips and calves, and building a sense of balance and coordination.
Additional benefits of Indian dance:
- A variety of finger positions that are constantly changing and this helps to move and harmonise the muscles and tendons of the palms and wrists, which therefore balances out the constant use of the computer mouse.
- The eyes are the main means of expression, which implies their constant movement and training of the muscles, which are immobilised as a result of constant staring at screens.
