Indian dances – a vast ocean of mysticism and beauty!

Welcome to the new Indian dances group for beginners at Latin Force with Katya Tosheva, founder of the Indian dances school Kaya, a performer at many Bulgarian and international stages, performances and shows for Indian art!

Dance and art lessons in Indian dance will provoke you and you will be able to explore yourself on many levels – we will observe the body, mind and soul! You will develop the following skills – balance, sense of rhythm, grace and flexibility. Let’s forget together the thoughts of everyday life and express ourselves – free and lighter.

New group of beginners Hall 6 (near Mall of Sofia)
    Start: October 5, 2021
Schedule: Tuesday and Friday from 20:30 – 21:30h
Address: Sofia, 2 Osogovo Str. (near Mall of Sofia, opposite to Vazrazhdane Park).
Map and photos of the hall.

Price for a single visit – 10 leva, with a monthly card for 8 visits – 72 leva. No extra charge with MultiSport card.

Each lesson begins and ends with exercises for relaxation, warm up and stretching. Wear comfortable clothes, preferably a long cotton scarf. We dance barefoot. No previous dance experience is required. There are no age restrictions.

During the lessons we will get to know the basic positions of the body and some rhythmic steps of different styles of Indian dance. We will look at the most commonly used mudras (hand gestures) and learn their meaning. The classes are an alternative to fitness – great cardio workouts, we work on the harmonious development of all muscles, paying special attention to hips and calves, and building a sense of balance and coordination.

    Additional benefits of Indian dance:

    • A variety of finger positions that are constantly changing and this helps to move and harmonise the muscles and tendons of the palms and wrists, which therefore balances out the constant use of the computer mouse.
    • The eyes are the main means of expression, which implies their constant movement and training of the muscles, which are immobilised as a result of constant staring at screens.

Given the current situation, it is important to know that we have taken all necessary measures to ensure your health and safety! You can read more about them HERE
